TTFA Resumes Legal Fight Against FIFA

In a shocking twist in the TTFA vs FIFA saga which resulted in this country's football being banned by the world body on Thursday, the beleaguered Executive of the TTFA has decided to resume its legal battle with the international body. Since the TTFA's withdrawal notice to the High Court was submitted two minutes after the Court's Civil Registry was closed for the day on Wednesday, FIFA would have only received the official notice of the said withdrawal of the matter on Friday. But in another turn of events, at 7:38 on Friday morning, William Wallace withdrew the withdrawal notice, and is set to continue the court matter with FIFA. Ironically, even as he instructed his Attorneys to proceed, unknown to him, CONCACAF was preparing a draft of its own that would allow the Warriors to compete in the Gold Cup, once the suspension was lifted by FIFA.
