There have been instances where ill persons have refused to be swabbed for COVID-19.
This was confirmed by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Roshan Parasram during Wednesday's Virtual Media Conference on COVID-19.
He said it is a person's right and added that people cannot be forced to be swabbed for the virus.
