Meanwhile, Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh admitted that there is an issue in obtaining the 20,000 antigen rapid test kits into the country before the entire shipment's expected arrival.
He said the Ministry has ordered 160,000 of these test kits, expected to arrive by the end of October, or early November.
The Minister said he is attempting to get an advance of 20,000 kits, and is working with PAHO to have the first batch expedited into the country.
