Bar Owners Hopeful On Reopening

The Barkeepers and Operators Association of Trinidad and Tobago is saying that they are concerned about the 20,000 employees associated with their industry who have been temporarily laid off as a result of the closure of the bar sector. The Association is hoping they can return to work soon. They are also assuring the public that they have taken all precautions to ensure all their outlets are fully COVID-19 compliant. All member establishments been fully cleaned and sanitised and health and safety protocols have been implemented including social distancing, sanitising protocols, and temperature checks. The Association stands firm in its position that proper adherence and enforcement of the health guidelines are necessary and those establishments that do not adhere to the proper health guidelines should feel the full brunt of the law.
