A quantity of cured marijuana was seized from a makeshift camp in the Balandra area on Sunday.
Police officers from the Northern Division Task Force, Toco and Matelot Police Stations, the Canine Unit, and the Special Investigations Unit conducted searches in a forested area of Rampanalgas Road off the Toco Main Road.
During the search, several persons were seen fleeing from a camp. Further checks at the site resulted in the discovery of 11 kilogrammes of cured marijuana.
Investigations are continuing.
