Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister Ayanna Webster-Roy has appealed to adults to do right by the nation's children. During her contribution to the Budget debate on Monday, Minister Webster-Roy also declared that unless all citizens take personal responsibility for their action, the scourge of domestic violence will not end, regardless of how many initiatives the Government spearheads to tackle the problem. She said the highest instances of reports received in Trinidad and Tobago were cases of sexual abuse at 22.6%, reports of neglect 20.6% and reports of physical abuse 14.3%.
