The Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) is working closely with the Caribbean Tourism Sectors towards certifying hotels and guest houses regionally.
This will be done with a Traveller's Health Stamp.
The stamp will aid in identifying places that are adhering to COVID-19 protocols.
The announcement came on Monday from Assistant Director of CARPHA, Dr. Lisa Indar.
She explained that certification will follow COVID-19 protocol training of staff within the tourism industry.
Dr. Indar said the initiative will be launched officially in November.
