Man Shot Dead At D'Abadie

Police are investigating a murder in D'Abadie. Thirty year old Javel Bailey was found with gunshot wounds at around 2:30am on Saturday. He lived at Building 16, Maloney Gardens. Police visited the scene after reports of loud explosions but they were told that Bailey and another man who was injured, Jordan Mitchell, had already been taken to the Arima Health Facility. When officers got to the hospital, they were told that Bailey had died. He was shot 14 times. Mitchell had undergone treatment for a gunshot wound to the elbow. No motive has yet been given for the murder. Police are continuing investigations.
