DSS Raided Again

Police Officers attached to the Professional Standards Bureau, have seized items from the headquarters of the Drugs Sou Sou Scheme in La Horquetta, Arima. According to reports, a team of police officers arrived at Kathleen Warner Drive, La Horquetta shortly before 11 a.m. Tuesday, where they executed search warrants for receipts, and seizure of cash. DSS Founder Kerron 'Preeze' Clarke went live on Instagram to show the police exercise. Last month, police raided the business place located in Phase One, La Horquetta, and took nine people into custody and seized an estimated 22 million dollars in cash. Investigations into the DSS Scheme began after the money seized, was returned to the founder by police. So far, four police officers have been suspended, while 11 others were transferred. Last week 2 officers of the Royal Barbados Police Force arrived and were sworn in as Special Reserve Police Officers to work on the case. Government has also requested the assistance of the National Crime Agency in the United Kingdom.
