Search Continues For Missing Diver

The search continues for missing diver Reinaldo Novoa, a retired nurse and pharmacy representative, who went missing off the coast of Mayaro, while diving in the area on Sunday afternoon. Confirmation of an ongoing search came from National Security Minister, Stuart Young during Monday's sitting of the House of Representatives, during the question and answer segment. TTT News understands that Mr Novoa, who is said to be an experienced diver, went out to sea on Sunday with a boatman. The boatman has since reported to police, Mr Novoa made the dive but failed to surface. Meanwhile, Minister Young said members of both Coast and Air Guard are assisting with the search at this time. If there is no success by the end of today, Monday 9th, the National Security Minister said the search for the missing diver, is likely to extend to waters in Tobago.
