Carter Picks Up Two Silvers

TT Olympian swimmer Dylan Carter is rounding into form and produced some of his best times in the ongoing International Swimming League in Budapest, Hungary last evening. Carter picked up two Silver medals to go along with two National Records for good measure, as he eyes next year's Olympics. Swimming for the Los Angeles Current outfit Carter stopped the clock at 50.11 seconds in the men's 100-Metre Back Stroke event, but was out touched by teammate Ryan Murphy who clocked 49.93-secomnds for the gold. The positions were the same in the men's 50m Back Stroke skins, as Carter produced a 24.99-seconds clocking in the Final, but Murphy was quicker to the wall in 24.18-seconds to snatch Gold. Carter also erased George Bovell's mark of 47.06-seconds swimming the first leg of the 4x100 Freestyle event, lowering the national record time to 46.58-seconds. He then went on to break Joshua McLeod's mark of 52.81-seconds in the 100 Butterfly event, with a superb 50.71-seconds clocking, but could only finish 7th despite a National Record in the event.
