Doctor In Racist Rant Has Until December 1st To Respond To Complaints

The Medical Board of Trinidad and Tobago has given Dr. Avinash Sawh until December 1st to respond to five complaints against him. Dr. Sawh came under fire a few weeks ago after a slew of audio recordings, in which he criticised the Police Service and made derogatory comments against a particular race, were made public. Mr. Sawh's Attorney, Martin George, said he believes the Medical Board gave them the extension to fully respond to the complaints. The complainants in the matter against Mr. Sawh include the Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh, and two medical doctors.
