E-IDECOT Donates Devices To THA

The Division of Education, Innovation and Education recently received 28 devices, both laptops and tablets, from the Eco-Industrial Development Company of Tobago Ltd ( E-IDCOT). School Supervisor Three at the Division, Ms. Sherry-Ann Rollocks-Hackett, said the devices will be distributed among 14 schools, and will be given to the students most in need. Mrs. Rollocks-Hackett said while there are concerns about online learning, the Division is working on a solution which will be shared with parents. As Term Two of the School Year approaches, Mrs. Rollocks-Hackett said blended learning may become part of the curriculum as some students need face to face interaction along with the online learning. She added that the blended learning feature will be rolled out on a rotational basis.
