Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley has assured that no families would be affected in East Port of Spain by the project to rejuvenate Port of Spain. Following last week's announcement about plans to revitalise Port of Spain, some families from East Port of Spain have been targetted to be relocated but have indicated their opposition to being moved. A Guardian newspaper Opinion article on Tuesday said the biggest challenge this dream face is how to move from a plan to an implementation strategy that engages the imagination of our people. Responding to the article on Tuesday at the Sod Turning Ceremony for the new Ministry of Health headquarters, Prime Minister Rowley said there was public consultation between 2018-2019 with 220 participants.
