Montano's Chocolate To Open Factory

Montano's Chocolate Company Ltd, where Soca icon Machel Montano is the Brand Ambassador, is working on opening a chocolate factory in the near future. The family-owned business started in 2014 and has since been selling their 60% dark chocolate bars as a Carnival and Valentine's Day promotion, particularly at the popular Machel Monday concert. But Director at the company, Machel's mother, Elizabeth Montano, says they have been working on expanding the business. Mrs. Montano adds that due to the pandemic, Machel has been putting in the extra effort towards marketing the business and product. Montano's Chocolate Company Ltd currently only exports its product to Canada, but is now looking at other export opportunities in Latin America.
