Eviction Notices Served To Crown Point Residents

Crown Point residents whose lands are being acquired for the ANR Robinson International Airport Expansion Project are in a state of disbelief. They say they have received notices on their doors stating they are to vacate their premises within seven days. One of the residents served and key member of the group Provide Equivalent Equitable Compensation for Everyone (PEECE), Wolwin Lovell, expressed disappointment as he said recent discussions gave no indication that such a letter was forthcoming. He said the eviction notices have been sent to Attorneys representing members of the movement. Mr. Lovell maintained that the eviction does not follow the timeline given.
