TT National Andy B. Salandy Named Commissioner Of Mid-Atlantic & Southeast Region of U.S. Soccer

Another big accomplishment for a TT National as Andy B. Salandy has been named Commissioner of the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast Region of U.S. Soccer. Salandy, who left TT in his formative years, went on to distinguish himself as a player at Appalachian State University, setting a number of scoring titles, and was a three-time Academic All American. After a short professional career, he entered coaching and eventually formed his own team. His new role puts him in charge of one of the fastest growing amateur soccer leagues in the US, with affiliation to US Soccer, the parent body in the United States. Salandy is the son of former Parliamentarian and noted Sportsman in Eddie Hart, who has successfully staged a minor league in his name for several decades in Tacarigua. Salandy is also the CEO of the sports management company, TSM International, which also boasts another famous TT national goalkeeper in Earl `Spiderman' Carter, as an executive.
