Tree Lighting At Buccoo Beach

Trees at the Buccoo Beach were lit on Sunday by Progressive Democratic Patriot's candidate for Buccoo/Mt. Pleasant, Jamie Baird. Members of the PDP team, including Political Leader Watson Duke, who had been absent from THA elections campaigning for some time, was also present at the lighting ceremony. The Buccoo/Mt Pleasant candidate said the lighting of the trees at the beach front was a representation of the PDP and its mandate. Ms. Baird said Buccoo has moulded her into the woman she has become. The PDP candidate described Buccoo beach as the "mecca of the west."
