Kieron Pollard suffered a finger injury while practising with the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force team on Monday morning at Balmain. The newly appointed Trinidad and Tobago skipper was hit on the fingers by a lifting delivery from pacer Terrence Hinds. Pollard had the fingers bandaged after being hit, but the injury is not expected to keep him out of any matches of the Regional Super50 tournament, which starts in January. After the new skipper got bandaged up, Pollard said he was not too happy with the discipline showed by his team. Speaking to TTT Sports, Nigel Jawahir on Monday, Pollard said, it was one of the areas that had to improve. Pollard has had a stellar 2020, winning the CPL title with the Trinbago Knight Riders, and the IPL title with Mumbai Indians. He last played for Trinidad and Tobago in 'List A' cricket in October 2018 and is looking forward to donning national colours.
