There was a robbery at Wendy's restaurant on Thursday. Videos surfaced on Facebook showing a group of armed police officers surrounding the fast food establishment located at Ana Street, Ariapita Avenue in Port of Spain, shortly after lunch. TTT News was told officers from several police stations, including Woodbrook and St. James, responded to the scene of the crime but no one has yet been arrested. This is the second robbery to hit the Ariapita branch. In 2018, robbers stole over $30,000 in cash and valuables.
