Speak out if you see an act of violence being committed against another person. The advice from Pastor Charles Sukhal, who officiated at the funeral of Secondary School teacher, Suzette Sylvester. Ms. Sylvester was remembered by past and present co-workers, students, relatives and friends as a pure soul who had the biggest smile, and was always full of laughter. Speaking with TTT News after the funeral service, Pastor Sukhal encouraged citizens to stand up against violence. Ms. Sylvester began teaching English and English literature at Preysal Secondary School in 2016, after teaching at the El Dorado West Secondary School for 15 years. Her former students recalled that she wasn't just a teacher or a mother figure, but a mentor who impacted many lives. Kurt Sylvester, a 47 year old bank employee has been charged with her murder.
