MSDFS Moves Toward Digital Change

Minister of Social Development and Family Services, Donna Cox, believes Trinidad and Tobago embraced the opportunity during the pandemic, to 'Rethink, Reset and Rebuild' in order to accelerate its digital transformation. Minister Cox was speaking during Day 2 of the 12th Virtual Ministerial Forum for Development in Latin America and the Caribbean on Wednesday. She stated that this country is on the right track towards a digitalised society. She outlined Government's National Development Strategy Vision 2030, and the National ICT Plan, which outline the blueprint for the country's digital transformation agenda. Minister Cox discussed several initiatives that are being implemented in her Ministry, which will help revolutionise the delivery of services in the social sector, such as the Social Services Client Management System and the Integrated Social Enterprise Management System.
