A number of La Horquetta residents, on Friday, received hampers, to aid in buffering the effects of COVID-19.
The distribution, which was a collaboration between Member of Parliament Foster Cummings and Target Solutions Limited, took place at the La Horquetta Regional Complex. On hand to distribute on behalf of MP Cummings was Councillor for the area, Kerry-Anne Roberts-Kasmally. She said they are aware of the difficulties being experienced by the people in their community and wanted to offer assistance to bring some relief.
One recipient commended the efforts of those involved. He said the COVID-19 period has been difficult to manage.
