Airports Authority Gets Automatic Hand Sanitiser Dispensers

The Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago has received a suite of hygiene and screening equipment, to support COVID-19 surveillance at the Piarco International Airport, and the ANR Robinson International Airport. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) handed over the equipment, which included automatic hand sanitiser dispensers, on Thursday. Deputy General Manager of Operations at Piarco International Airport, Kurt Menal said, partnerships like this increase the confidence of travellers, migrants and citizens alike. A representative of IOM Port of Spain Head of Office, Jewel Ali, noted the pandemic demonstrates the need for healthy security that promotes safe, regular, and orderly migration. Meanwhile Chargé d'Affaires for the US Embassy in Trinidad and Tobago, Shante Moore re-iterated the commitment by the United States to help its partners and allies tackle COVID-19.
