Teen Electrocuted In South Trinidad

Police are investigating the electrocution of a 14 year old boy in South Trinidad. The victim has been identified as Michael Sooknanan of Cotton Hill Road, Gasparillo. TTT News understands he was electrocuted at the Pointe-a-Pierre Refinery on Wednesday morning. Reports are his body was discovered on an electricity pole at around 9am. Police believe he was there to steal copper when he came into contact with high tension wires. It's also believed Sooknanan was not alone, and others he might have gone with left him there when the incident occurred.
