DSS Founder Detained

Police raided the Drug Sou Sou operation in La Horquetta on Saturday, and took its founder Kerron 'Prezee' Clarke into custody. According to reports, Mr. Clarke is being questioned by detectives of the Financial Investigations Branch on suspicion of money laundering. Reports also suggest that there was a scuffle between Mr. Clarke and police officers as he initially resisted arrest. Mr. Clarke was taken to the Arima Hospital for medical treatment. The raid on DSS was the fifth time police searched the premises at Kathleen Warner Drive, La Horquetta since investigations into the operations began last year. In September, police raided Mr. Clarke's home and seized close to $22 million which was later returned. In a subsequent raid, police also seized $7.7 million.
