Tobago Maxi Taxi Drivers Wins Application For Judicial Review

Thirty one Tobago maxi drivers have scored a major legal victory over the THA. They have won their Application for Judicial Review. Head of the Tobago Maxi Taxi Association, Orville Dillon, explains that their bid will now go forward to prevent the PTSC from inserting itself into their long-standing contractual arrangements with the THA to provide transport services to Tobago's schoolchildren. Mr. Dillon says after a long productive period with the THA, their services were transferred to the PTSC for that company's management. This, he said, resulted in a PTSC proposal which was "unreasonable, unfair and discriminatory."
