MNS Publishes Online Application Guide For Travel Exemptions

The Ministry of National Security implemented a new Online Application System for Travel Exemptions. Anyone who wants to enter or depart Trinidad and Tobago is required to apply to the Ministry of National Security for a Travel Exemption. To apply, you are now required to log on to the Ministry of National Security website and click on the travel exemptions tab and then click on the exemptions application link. From there, you can enter all of the information relevant to your case. At the end of the process, you will receive a unique user ID in order to track your status. To check on the status of your application, you can return to the exemptions tab and click query application. The Ministry is advising that if you applied previously via email, you now have to reapply through the online portal in order to be considered.
