Carli Bay Beach Clean-Up

What we want is a cleaner Trinidad and Tobago. This, according to the members of the Ambiance Project who made their way to the Carli Bay Beach on Saturday morning to attempt to clean the facility. Managing Director of the Ambiance Project, Dereck Danny, told TTT News the group has a minimum of 12 clean-ups scheduled for 2021. He added that the organisation's intention is not only to clean up Trinidad and Tobago, but to encourage people worldwide to do the same to protect the environment. The group, which also had the support of I Care, managed to collect 40 bags of trash - 20 of plastic bottles, 20 bags of various materials and a computer monitor. One volunteer pleaded with citizens to do better and respect the environment.
