The Penal Debe Regional Corporation has three days to decide whether or not it will pay to exhume and re-bury bodies which were dug up at the Monkey Town Cemetery during landslip repair works in January.
Construction of a retaining wall at the Monkey Town Public Cemetery 'Garden of Rest' was halted last month after 20 graves and tombstones were dug up.
