Economist: A Different Approach Needed To Ensure Economic Survival

The difficulties businesses are facing in today's COVID-19-lashed economy are forcing them to work differently. Economist Dr. Indera Sagewan says the country itself needs to take a different approach to economic survival. The Economist says we need to earn foreign exchange, and this can only come by searching for and exploiting the areas in the country which will encourage exports. Dr. Sagewan says risk has to be balanced with the growth of the economy. She believes that there are some sectors which can bring Trinidad and Tobago to more vibrant economic movement
