PDP Hopeful On Shared Governance Proposal

The Progressive Democratic Patriots (PDP) is hopeful that the Tobago arm of the People's National Movement would consider its proposal to have a shared system of governance. Political Leader of the PDP, Watson Duke, said since their meeting with Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley, he has spoken with PNM Leader Tracy Davidson-Celestine on the proposal but she is yet to review it. The PDP is proposing, in the interim, the formation of a Tobago Government constituting both political parties sharing responsibilities in the Executive Council.
