Riley Family Calls For Sex Offenders Registry To Be Established

Another call is being made for the establishment of a Sex Offenders Registry. The call comes from Lisa Riley, the aunt of 19 year old Ashanti Riley who was abducted and killed over three months ago. Ms Riley, speaking on TTT's NOW Morning Show on this International Women's Day, said the family has been sticking together to cope with this tragedy. Ms. Riley noted they were unfamiliar with the San Juan area and its PH Taxi drivers prior to the killing of her niece, as the family had only moved into the area just two months before. She also recommended a system to regularise PH drivers to weed out the criminal elements. Ashanti Riley went missing in November last year and was found dead a few days later in Upper La Canoa, Santa Cruz.
