Certain kinds of crime take place in the Central Division more frequently during the day than in the night.
Senior Superintendent Curt Simon revealed this as he addressed residents on Wednesday night at a Town Meeting.
He stated this was the reason why there are a higher number of daytime patrols in the area.
Senior Superintendent Simon said there were 35 patrols per week during the day, and 27 at night in the Couva area.
