Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Rowley and President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, had a teleconference call on Tuesday.
The Office of the Prime Minister says the bilateral discussions between Prime Minister Rowley and President Xi Jinping focussed on several matters of mutual interest.
The China Global Television Network reports that President Xi said China is willing to strengthen ties in several sectors including energy, telecommunications and infrastructure, and vowed to extend cooperation in digital economy, new energy, and inter-connectivity.
