Toddler Dies At Speech Therapy School

An infant has died after he was dropped off at school for his lessons. Reports are that at 8:25 on Tuesday morning, two year old Romello Drakes was dropped off at a speech therapy school in Esperanza, Couva. The child's uncle and aunt went to pick him up around noon. They were waiting at the school gate for about 15 minutes when a school official beckoned them inside and said there was an emergency. The relatives went in and saw a school official trying to resuscitate the child. The uncle rushed Romello to the Couva Health Facility where he died.
