The Progressive Democratic Patriots (PDP) wants a mediation system to ensure the smooth flow of the power sharing arrangement meeting. After Wednesday's meeting ended in another stalemate, the PDP on Thursday, via a media release, called for all Assemblymen to return to the negotiation table but with independent mediators. They expressed hope that both parties can identify individuals who can act as such and have the meeting reconvened by Monday March 22nd, 2021. The PDP added that they remain resolute that this is a grand opportunity for both parties to work together to achieve autonomy for Tobago and return to the polls with a fresh mandate.
