The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service has received just over 140 body cameras.
Confirmation of the latest development came from National Security Minister Stuart Young in Parliament on Friday.
According to Minister Young, body cameras are distributed to Police Units and Divisions in order to maximise their operational usage. He added that there is more to come.
The National Security Minister said Government's policy is to have as many police officers as possible equipped with body cameras while on duty.
