The body of Matthew Sookoo has been recovered.
According to reports reaching TTT News, the body of the 14 year old was found at around 10am today in the vicinity of the Columbus channel by the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard.
The body was taken to the Coast Guard base in Cedros for positive identification.
Matthew fell off a boat in the waters near Cedros on Saturday, it was feared he had drowned.
Several fishing vessels and the Coast Guard joined in the search for him over the weekend.
