SEA And Concordat Review Committee To Meet Soon

The Committee established to further review and recommend changes to the conduct of the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) Exam, the transition to Secondary School, and the Concordat, could be convened as early as next week. Confirmation of this comes from Education Ministry Dr. Nyan Gadsby-Dolly, speaking on the NOW Morning Show on Tuesday. In late February, Government announced the establishment of the Committee, which is mandated to produce a report, including specific recommendations for the consideration of Cabinet. Dr. Gadsby-Dolly says the Committee will soon meet to discuss the issues. The Minister meanwhile praised Secondary Schools for following proper COVID-19 guidelines, saying there's been no major disruptions in operations for Forms 4 to 6 that are currently attending a combination of online and physical classes. The Minister's statement comes after a surge in COVID-19 cases over the past few weeks.
