No Motive For The Killing Of Two Teens

Police are yet to find a motive for the murder of two teenage boys who were killed in Laventille on Sunday night. According to reports, 15 year old Semion Daniel and 16 year old Antonio Francois were with several other teenagers at an abandoned house in Desperlie Crescent at around 7:30pm when they were approached by two men dressed in police uniforms. The men reportedly fired several shots at the group, killing Daniel and Francois immediately. Two other teens, aged 13 and 15 years old, also suffered injuries - one being hit in the left arm and another grazed by a shot. Police said the two boys that were killed were among three persons that escaped from the Children's Authority Child Support Centre earlier this month by squeezing through burglar proofing. The other teen who escaped was also in the company of the boys during the shooting, but he was unharmed. Port of Spain police and homicide investigators are continuing inquiries.
