Today is International Mother Earth Day and this year, the UN's theme is "Restore our Earth" which focuses on natural processes and emerging green technologies that can restore the world's ecosystems. Managing Director of the Environmental Management Authority, Hayden Romano, said Trinidad and Tobago is playing its part to restore the earth through various projects. He said with the project, they're giving operators the ability to rehabilitate quarried out sites. April 22nd is also a significant day for the EMA as they are celebrating their 25th Anniversary. Mr. Romano was speaking on TTT's Now Morning Show.
