The Progressive Democratic Patriots Assemblymen believe the Tobago autonomy discussion is the most important current topic, and the party's Political Leader Watson Duke is ready to take on the responsibility to form an action group in Trinidad to have this realised. During the PDP's Black Table Talks on Wednesday, Mr. Duke, who has been given the responsibility to advocate for Tobago's needs in Trinidad, said he is excited and has the capabilities to pursue this. The party's Deputy Leader, Assemblyman Farley Augustine, reiterated their belief that the current THA impasse is a perfect opportunity for all Assemblymen to lobby for Tobago self-governance with a united front.
