Lights For Sou Sou Lands

Eight new lights have been installed at the Sou Sou Lands Park in Tobago at a cost of over $19,000. This project which was completed in just under one month was spearheaded by the Progressive Democratic Patriots Assemblyman Pastor Terrence Baynes. Baynes, the area representative for Bethel/Mt. Irvine, noted at Thursday's Light Commissioning that even when he was on the campaign trail, he visited the various communities inquiring of their needs. This was one of the requests. Assemblyman Baynes thanked all for the support received, adding that it was a community effort. Assemblyman Baynes added that amidst the political situation and their limited abilities, the PDP's representatives continue to make efforts to meet the needs of those within their electoral districts. One resident of the district expressed appreciation for the new infrastructure.
