Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly, Ancil Dennis, is urging Tobagonians not to become complacent. Speaking at Wednesday's Post Executive Media Briefing, he stressed that the increase in COVID cases on the island should be a cause for concern. Mr. Dennis said the THA has spent millions in support provisions for Tobagonians since the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic. Mr. Dennis also admonished public servants employed within the Department of Social Services to be compassionate and go the extra mile to assist residents on the island. He explained that those who received rental assistance in the past and who continue to face financial challenges as a result of the pandemic are free to reapply.
