One hundred and twenty citizens who were stuck in Barbados since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic will be repatriated later this week.
This according to Principal Medical Officer, Dr. Maryam Abdool-Richards, who said there will be three repatriation flights within the next two weeks for Nationals stuck abroad, the first of which was a repatriation of 89 persons from Canada on Wednesday evening.
The repatriation from Barbados meanwhile is expected to take place on Friday.
Dr. Abdool-Richards was speaking during Wednesday's Virtual Ministry of Health Media Conference.
