The Port of Spain City Corporation has restricted access to the Brian Lara Promenade as it seeks to prevent persons from congregating in the capital city.
Port of Spain Mayor Joel Martinez told TTT News the Corporation agreed to a request from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service to cordon off the popular liming spot. Mr. Martinez says he visited the Promenade on Friday evening and noticed that people were still loitering.
