Tobago Targets The Elderly For Vaccination

As the Tobago Regional Health Authority seeks to ramp up its vaccination program, health practitioners will be targeting Elderly Care Homes. Acting General Manager Primary Care Services Dr Roxanne Mitchell informed of this at Friday's Health Briefing. While Dr Mitchell noted that persons have been responding to the vaccination calls, there still exists some apprehension, particularly in the eastern end of the island. Health Secretary Tracy Davidson-Celestine called on Tobagonians to work along with the TRHA and encourage residents in the East to avail themselves of the vaccines being administered at the Roxborough Health Facility.
