Approximately one million people in Trinidad and Tobago meet the criteria to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Roshan Parasram encouraged persons to get vaccinated as it could protect others through herd immunity.
The call comes as the country received another shipment of the vaccines from the COVAX facility on Monday, and 100,000 doses of the vaccines are expected from Sinopharm in China this week.
