Four More COVID-19 Deaths, 99 New Cases

There have been four more COVID-19 related deaths in Trinidad and Tobago. The Ministry of Health, in its clinical update on Monday, put the death toll at 215. An additional 99 persons also tested Positive for COVID-19 during a 48-hour period. The number of cases reported reflects the samples taken during the period May 7th to 9th and not the last 24 hours. The total number of Active Cases is 3,858. There are 330 patients in hospital, 59 in step down facilities, and 3,370 in home self-isolation. A total of 60,245 persons have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 1,100 persons have received their second dose and are now fully vaccinated.
